A Roswell native, mother to twins, two-time 40 Under 40 winner, and top leader in the largest industry in New Mexico, Claire Chase is the Republican we need to take our Congressional seat back from the Democrats and put our state on the path to lasting prosperity.
Claire personifies the conservative values of our party. Claire’s hard work, determination, heart for service, and ingenuity propelled her to become the youngest and first female Chair of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association (NMOGA). Oil and gas is responsible for over 100,000 New Mexico jobs. This industry, alone, covers the cost of one-third of our state’s spending for schools, health care, and public safety.
Claire also knows firsthand what our farmers go through on a daily basis. Her family is just one of many producers of pecans in the Southwest. She will continue to be a strong voice for our agriculture community and protect it from the DC special interests.
A graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute and New Mexico State University, Claire’s service started at the New Mexico Association of Commerce and Industry, and the New Mexico Finance Authority, where she was a financial advisor for Southeast New Mexico. She later served local families in the office of New Mexico Congressman Steve Pearce and went on to lead Government Affairs at one of the top energy companies in the state.
Democrats have controlled the outcome in New Mexico for years. Under their leadership, New Mexico just ranked 50th in the nation for child well-being and 50th for K-12 education. We cannot afford to stay at the bottom any longer. The status quo has failed, and the Democrats' recent push toward radical socialism threatens New Mexico more than ever before.
Now, more than ever, we need a strong, thoughtful Republican and driven achiever like Claire who will get us back on track. Claire won’t rest until we provide quality jobs for all our families, ensure great education and health care, secure our border, defend our Constitutional rights, and move New Mexico to the top of everyone’s best-of lists – where we all know we belong.
Claire and her husband, Chance, live in Roswell, where they are raising their three-year-old twins, Cash and Collins. They attend St. Andrews Episcopal in Roswell. Claire met Chance at a park, where he offered to buy her a hot dog.
